As a Support Worker, you will encourage and enable people we support to make day-to-day choices as well as bigger life decisions, helping to remove the barriers to their independence and encouraging their confidence.  The importance of connection and relationship was brought home to many of us over the last couple of years, and your support to assist develop relationships and maintaining contact with family and friends will be key to the people you work with.

To flourish in this role you will have great communication skills, so that you can work effectively with people we support, your colleagues and other professionals.  You will have a caring manner and a tolerant nature.

For some roles, due to the location of some of the homes and the need to access community activities, you may need to be a driver – but this isn’t the case for all roles, so please don’t let this put you off applying.

We are looking for people with the right values and attitude, experience isn’t essential as we will provide you with training you need – and there are opportunities to develop your career with us, possibly into management or nursing roles.
