An individual that we support in one of our supported living homes in Bishopston is looking for someone to go to Bristol Rovers football matches with them and to go to a pub to watch football games. They have a general interest in sports and would also like to go to the cinema to watch films.
Can you help?
We are looking for volunteers who are compassionate and patient with good social skills and who share similar interests as the person we support. Ideally this would be a weekly or fortnightly volunteer role, or as often as volunteers are able to commit. We provide a thorough induction, and support to volunteers throughout their role.
We can cover travel and some activity expenses.
Please note, for all of our volunteer roles a DBS check will be carried out and references will be taken up. All volunteers have a volunteer induction before starting the role and will be supported by both the volunteer team and a member of staff in the service too.
