to care?
Experience
not necessary
You don’t need experience to work in care
Many of our Support Workers joined us without any previous background in the sector. What mattered most was having the right values, attitude and a genuine desire to support others.
If you’re kind, patient, reliable and willing to learn, we can teach you the rest.
When you join us, you’ll receive:
- A comprehensive induction to help you understand your role and feel confident
- Ongoing training tailored to your service and development needs
- Support from experienced colleagues and managers
- Time to learn. You won’t be expected to know everything straight away
Working in care is about building relationships, supporting everyday life and helping people feel safe, valued and listened to.
It can be challenging at times, but it’s also incredibly rewarding — you’ll see the difference your support makes every day.
We look for people who are:
- Compassionate and respectful
- Good listeners
- Reliable and professional
- Positive and open to learning
Many of our colleagues who started in entry‑level roles have gone on to senior, specialist or management positions. A career in care can grow with you.
As you work with us, you can complete recognised qualifications, with the support and guidance you need to grow and succeed in your role
Not sure where to start? Our Support Worker roles are a great first step into a career in care.
